Lyophilised products

Lyophilisation – an excellent method of food preservation!

For years, we have been driven by a passion for natural products and the highest quality raw materials. We use a proven preservation method – the process of lyophilisation, which allows the flavour, aroma and structure of the ingredients to be preserved without the use of unnecessary additives or chemical substances.

The lyophilisation process, also known as freeze-drying, involves freezing the selected product and then removing the water through sublimation. This means that the water contained in fruits, vegetables or other products is first frozen and then converted directly into water vapour, bypassing the liquid state.

As a result, the products retain most of their nutritional value. This makes them an excellent snack or a valuable addition to everyday meals. Thanks to their light weight and long shelf life, they are a perfect solution wherever luggage weight matters – during travel, mountain hiking, camping or longer trips – offering convenient storage and ease of use in all conditions.

A wide range of lyophilised products

For over 30 years, we have specialised in the production of lyophilised products.

We began our operations with the processing of meats and soups, and today we apply the process of lyophilisation on a much broader scale – including fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, herbs and spices.

In recent years, we have also expanded our range to include collagen derived from freshwater fish, used in our dietary supplements. Our many years of experience enable us to deliver products of consistent quality, broad application and long shelf life – both for the food industry and the dietary supplement sector.

We operate under continuous veterinary supervision, which also covers the processing of meat and dairy products – a solution that remains exceptional on a European scale.

Advantages of lyophilised (freeze-dried) food

no added sugar, colourings or preservatives

preservation of flavour, aroma and shape

very long shelf life

small packaging size and low weight

The process of freezing and dehydration was originally developed to prepare fully nutritious meals for astronauts. For this reason, a method was created that effectively preserves food, does not require special storage conditions, offers a long shelf life and allows easy storage thanks to its compact size and low weight. Today, these advantages are also used daily by athletes and travellers who require an adequate supply of energy and a wholesome meal – both provided by lyophilised food.

As a manufacturer of this type of product, we offer our customers a wide range of fruits and vegetables, the full list of which can be found below.
